Last week, I worked on the beautiful Sea Shell Cascade Cake.
I delivered to a gorgeous venue in Kennebunkport, Maine- The Colony Hotel. This cake was so fitting for a New England beach wedding.
The flowers are real, provided by the florist, but the shells, sand dollars and starfish are all made from gumpaste!
The event planner was even shocked that they are edible, she assumed they were real! The smallest shells are made with a new mold from Marvelous Molds, the Medium Cockle Shell. *Marvelous Molds are one of my absolute favorite mold sources… the patented cutting blade makes it SO easy to make a nice neat molded piece!
