While I’m not much of a cookier, I still love to decorate cookies.  I also love projects that are easy and quick!  This week I shared a video for these pretty and sweet Sweetheart Valentine’s Day Cookies!

I took my inspiration from the color palette in conversation hearts.  I thought it would be a little different than just the typical pink & red Valentine’s Day color scheme (don’t get me wrong, I love pink & red too!).  Check out the video:

I am so happy with how these turned out!  The feathering of the hearts was inspired by Batik prints, the one in particular is usually done in Diamonds.  I could be totally wrong about the type of fabric design I mean, BTW, I’m not really polished with my textile design vocabulary!
